Chicago, September 7, 2011 --- With the anniversary of 9/11 fast approaching, Bikram Yoga River North (BYRN) is commemorating this very important day in American history by offering free yoga classes. These classes will be available to all people for the day of September 11, 2011. These classes are an opportunity for people to reflect on a day when so many people lost their lives. BYRN is located at 219 W. Chicago Avenue, 6th Floor. For all class times click here.
Owner Mike Frayer states “ I was thinking that this would be a nice way for people to come in on that day and take the opportunity to reflect and heal. Yoga is about the union between body and mind, and yoga helps people to heal the mind.” Mike goes on to say “I also thought it would be a nice way to honor those who lost their lives and to celebrate life. That’s what inspired me to do a “karmic yoga” day.”
